Sound on Screen, founded in 2010, is delighted to present another in a series of acclaimed year round live performances that celebrate and explore the relationships between music and film. This performance features some of the best known works in the chamber music repertoire. The music will be performed against the backdrop of iconic scenes from films in which they are a central part of the story.

The hugely anticipated UK concert debut of one of France’s most exciting and innovative new string quartets. Winners of major competitions at Geneva, Vienna, Bordeaux, Graz, Cremona, London and the ‘ECHO Rising Stars 2013-14, Quatuor Voce has quickly made a major impact on the international scene. A unique  opportunity to be among the first in the UK to hear this outstanding quartet.

Alexander Schmalcz

One of the leading piano accompanists of his generation Alexander Schmalcz performs regularly at top international venues including Wigmore Hall London, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro alla Scala, Berliner Philharmonie, Leipziger Gewandhaus, Théâtre du Chatelet and Théâtre de la Monnaie Bruxelles.

Diana Galvydyte

Winner of 15 international competitions for young artists including laureate of the Jasha Heifetz International Competition, finalist in the Jeunesses Musicales Montreal International Competition and, in Denmark the 'European Prize for Achievement'.
